screen reel is a collection of film works by nz independent experimental filmmaker cathy fitzgerald from 2008 onwards; these video works and experiments reflect her interests and influences in a long term transdisciplinary eco art project where she is transforming a conifer monoculture plantation into a permanent forest, 'hollywood', in south carlow, ireland;

Part of cathy's practice is experimental filmmaking and writing, she has also been involved in transforming national irish forest policy. her small forest 'hollywood' is now listed as the smallest close-to-nature permanent forest on the new university college dublin/coford database. see more at ecoartfilm.com
